Borosilicate Glass Vacuum Desiccator with Stopcock

This vacuum desiccator features a 15cm (5.9 inch) inner diameter chamber made from heavy-duty semi-frosted borosilicate 3.3 glass. The desiccator holds a full vacuum (740mm Hg 20cm) at room temperature for 24 hours and remains airtight even when not under vacuum. A 132mm (5.2 inch) porcelain sieve plate sits at the bottom of the chamber, and a removable glass stopcock with side arm (105 x 56mm) allows controlled air entrance to prevent turbulence. Overall desiccator size without stopcock: 210mm (8.25 inch) outer diameter and 218mm (8.6 inch) height. The borosilicate glass is autoclavable with heat tolerances including a Strain Point of 515°C, Annealing Point of 565°C, and Softening Point of 820°C.
