Soxhlet Extraction Apparatus with 200mL Extractor, 500mL Flask and Condenser, Borosilicate Glass

This Soxhlet Extraction Apparatus is the standard for analytical extraction of solids and includes a 200mL extractor chamber, 500mL boiling flask, and condenser. All glassware is made from heavy-duty borosilicate 3.3 glass with interchangeable standard joints. The fully assembled apparatus is approximately 30 inches tall. Used for extracting lipids and other materials from solid samples when the desired compound has limited solubility. Allows unmonitored operation while efficiently recycling solvent. Applications include tincture and aromatic alcohol production, food testing, biofuels, and environmental analysis of soils, sludges, and wastes. Glass parts only; metal stands not included. Heat tolerances: Strain Point 515°C, Annealing Point 565°C, Softening Point 820°C.
