DNA Extraction from Plant Material Distance Learning Kit

This DNA Extraction distance learning kit guides students through the discovery and history of DNA, its structure, genetic inheritance, and the role of DNA and proteins in genetic expression. Students use biological detergents, enzymes, and ethanol to extract DNA from fruits or vegetables (plant material not included). The kit includes 50mL SDS/NaCl solution, pepsin, 10mL 95% ethanol, zipper bags, filters, plastic tubes, graduated pipettes, cups, stirrers, instruction manual, and SDS sheets. Materials for 2 groups.
