This air-cored inductance coil features a 300 + 300 turn configuration and is constructed from polycarbonate for high temperature resistance. The coil provides a magnetic field in air for studies in magnetism. The direction of current flow is marked on the coil body. The inner diameter of the coil is 116mm and the outer diameter is 165mm. This coil is suitable for physics and electrical engineering experiments involving electromagnetic induction and magnetic field studies.
