Human Hand Anatomy Model

This life-size anatomical model of the right hand and wrist is cast from an actual female hand. Both the volar and dorsal aspects are schematically painted to aid clinicians and therapists in visualizing significant anatomical structures and injury zones. Key features include bony anatomy, primary tendon and ligament structures in relation to bone, palpable superficial tendons, nerves and blood vessels of the volar wrist, thenar and hypothenar muscle representations, and five primary types of fracture injuries common to the hand. Tendon injury zones are depicted on both dorsal and volar aspects. The model measures approximately 13 x 13 x 22 cm and weighs approximately 300 g.
