General Zoology Chart Set

This set of eight teaching charts surveys foundational topics in general zoology, pairing cell biology with the structure of several representative invertebrates. Each chart measures 25 x 35 cm and presents detailed, labeled color illustrations, giving students a clear reference for identifying structures during lectures, lab work, and independent study.

The set opens at the cellular level. A chart of the typical animal cell as seen under the electron microscope identifies organelles including the nucleus, mitochondria, Golgi body, ribosomes, endoplasmic reticulum, lysosomes, and the cell membrane, while a companion chart on animal mitosis walks through the stages of cell division from interphase through prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase.

From there the set moves through a sequence of organisms commonly studied in invertebrate zoology. Charts on Hydra, Paramecium, and Amoeba proteus cover external form and internal structure, including features such as the contractile vacuole, nucleus, and reproduction by binary fission. Each is labeled to support the kind of structural identification students are expected to reproduce in exams and lab drawings.
