This hand microtome features 50 divisions of 10 microns each and a 75mm diameter top plate. Includes a knurled thumb screw for adjusting the material clamping mechanism, which holds items of various sizes in place. Capable of producing regular precise cuts as thin as 0.01 microns. A sturdy user-friendly tool for slicing a variety of materials for microscopy slide preparation in biology and histology laboratories.
