This combination dark chamber is designed for experiments in phototropism with seedlings, demonstrating how plants respond to directional light. The three-chambered wooden case accepts a variety of interchangeable shutters, allowing students to control the color and intensity of light reaching each compartment. The right-hand chamber has windows in the top and back and, when used with the included clear front window, functions as a control chamber. Five interchangeable shutters are included: transparent, cloudy, red, blue, and green, enabling comparative experiments across different wavelengths of light. The chamber measures 21" wide, 7" long, and 7" tall. Each shutter measures 6.5" x 6.5".
