Product Description
Product Description
This pack of 100 microhematocrit capillary tubes is manufactured from borosilicate 3.3 glass and is open at both ends. Each tube measures 100 mm long with a 1.3 mm outer diameter and a 0.9 mm inner diameter, and the tubes are non-heparinized. The fine bore allows quick capillary uptake of blood samples with minimal specimen loss.
The tubes are designed for the centrifugal microhematocrit method used to determine the ratio of packed red cell volume to whole blood volume. Supplied in a resealable tube for protection during storage and convenient dispensing.
