Small Beaker Tongs, 7.25" - With Rubber Tips - Metal Body - Eisco Labs

These small beaker tongs measure 7.25 inches long and 2.5 inches across the jaws, sized for beakers from 25mL to 100mL capacity. Full-size beaker tongs open too wide to close securely on a small beaker, and matching tong size to beaker size gives a firmer grip on hot glassware. The tips are rubber coated, which grips glass more securely than bare metal on a curved wall and cushions the contact so the beaker rim is not chipped by repeated handling. The metal body carries heat away from the hand and withstands the temperature of glassware coming off a hot plate or out of a water bath.
