This Bunsen burner is suitable for use with LPG (liquid petroleum gas) or butane gas. The aluminum burner mixing tube features a fixed brass flame stabilizer and is threaded into a die-cast zinc alloy base. A serrated inlet arm accepts 6-8mm tubing for gas connection. Air supply is controlled by a nickel-plated brass sleeve covering the ports at the lower end of the mixing tube.
The burner measures 6.5 inches in height with a 3-inch base diameter. Suitable for chemistry classrooms and laboratories requiring a reliable open-flame heat source.
