This Tirrill burner provides an additional level of control beyond a standard Bunsen burner by allowing independent adjustment of both air and gas supply. Gas flow is managed with a thumb knob on the bottom of the burner, while air supply is controlled by adjusting the air ports, enabling separate regulation of flame height and temperature.
The burner is suitable for use with LPG (liquid petroleum gas) or butane gas and is equipped with a serrated inlet arm that accepts 6-8mm tubing. It is mounted on a highly stable octagonal base. The burner measures 6.25" tall, and the base measures 3.25" wide.
