This 300mL Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) bottle is made from borosilicate 3.3 glass and includes an interchangeable glass pennyhead stopper with an 18/19 socket size. The bottle measures 7" tall (6" without stopper) and 2.75" in diameter.
BOD bottles are designed for standardized dissolved oxygen testing in water quality analysis. The borosilicate glass is autoclavable with heat tolerances including a Strain Point of 515°C, Annealing Point of 565°C, and Softening Point of 820°C.
