This 7-piece cork borer set includes 6 different-sized cork borers and one steel ram rod. The borers are made from sharpened nickel-plated brass tubing with attached plastic handles, and they nest into each other for convenient storage.
Borer diameters are 4mm, 6mm, 7.5mm, 9.5mm, 10.5mm, and 12mm. The set can be used for punching holes in agar plates for microbiology, taking core samples from living trees for ring analysis, and cutting holes in rubber stoppers and corks prior to inserting glass tubing. Suitable for laboratory, educational, and general-purpose applications.
