Graduated Cylinder, 1000mL - Class B - 29/32 Polypropylene Stopper - Hexagonal Base - Blue Graduations - Borosilicate Glass

This 1000mL measuring cylinder is made from borosilicate 3.3 glass and meets Class B accuracy under ISO 4788 as specified by DIN 12680, with a tolerance of ±10.00mL. Blue printed graduations are subdivided every 10.0mL, and the cylinder is calibrated to contain rather than to deliver. The cylinder stands 20 inches tall on a hexagonal base measuring 5.5 inches across, which holds a filled cylinder steady on a bench. The body measures 3 inches in diameter. An interchangeable 29/32 polypropylene stopper closes the cylinder between steps and limits evaporation. Borosilicate 3.3 glass resists thermal shock and is autoclavable, with chemical durability across acids, bases, and organic solvents. The blue printed scale reads clearly against colored and turbid solutions.
