This desiccator is manufactured from borosilicate glass and features a knob cover for secure sealing. It includes an unglazed porcelain plate measuring 25 cm (9.8 inches) in diameter and 0.5 inches thick, which supports specimens above the desiccant. The desiccator body measures 8.5 inches in outside diameter.
The ground glass rim provides an airtight seal when used with vacuum grease. The desiccator is suitable for drying and storing moisture-sensitive samples and reagents in analytical and research laboratories.
