This 30cm standard desiccator features a heavy-walled polypropylene body with a clear polycarbonate dome lid and a large ribbed knob for easy removal. The inner chamber diameter measures 30cm (11.8 inches), providing ample space for drying and storing moisture-sensitive materials.
An 11.6-inch diameter perforated plastic sieve plate is included to separate stored items from the desiccant below. The overall dimensions are 15.7 inches tall by 13.4 inches outer diameter.
Desiccant must be placed below the sieve plate to absorb moisture from the air inside the chamber. Grease must be applied to the flanges to create an airtight seal. Desiccant and grease are not included.
