Product Description
Product Description
This 5000 mL Erlenmeyer flask is hand-blown from premium Borosilicate 3.3 glass, featuring a narrow neck with a 45 mm inner diameter and white graduation markings at 500 mL intervals. The flask has a base diameter of 8.5 inches and weighs over 3 lbs, reflecting its exceptionally thick glass construction.
The borosilicate glass is autoclavable and provides superior chemical durability with a low temperature gradient, allowing it to withstand high temperatures and thermal shocks. Heat tolerances are: Strain Point 515°C, Annealing Point 565°C, and Softening Point 820°C. The flask is top-rack dishwasher safe and suitable for large-volume work in professional and educational laboratory settings.
