This 100mL dropping funnel is made from heavy duty borosilicate 3.3 glass with a cylindrical body, a glass key stopcock, a 14/23 cone on the stem, and a matching 14/23 interchangeable plastic stopper. It is ungraduated. The uniform cylindrical bore holds the liquid column at a constant cross-section as the funnel empties, so a drip rate set at the start stays steady instead of slowing as head pressure falls. The glass key stopcock controls addition down to individual drops, which governs temperature during exothermic additions. The funnel measures 10.5 inches tall and 1.75 inches wide. The coned stem seats directly into a 14/23 socket on a reaction flask or multi-neck adapter, placing the outlet below the joint rather than against the neck wall. The transparent borosilicate body allows remaining volume and drip rate to be checked without interrupting the run. The funnel is chemically inert against most laboratory reagents and autoclavable.
