This 100mL bent arm dropping funnel is made from heavy duty borosilicate 3.3 glass with a cylindrical body, a needle valve stopcock, a 19/26 cone on the stem, and a matching 19/26 interchangeable plastic stopper. It is ungraduated. The bent arm offsets the funnel from directly above the joint, giving clearance where a condenser, thermometer adapter, or stirrer occupies the space overhead on a multi-neck flask. The needle valve stopcock meters flow through a tapered seat rather than a quarter-turn bore, so the addition rate is dialed in progressively and holds without the drift that can open a plug stopcock during a long run. The uniform cylindrical bore keeps the drip rate steady as the column falls. The funnel measures 10.75 inches tall and 1.6 inches wide. It is chemically inert against most laboratory reagents, autoclavable, and transparent for monitoring the addition.
