This 13.75-inch (30cm) safety thistle funnel is made from borosilicate 3.3 glass with a bend and a safety bulb with flared rim. The bend and safety bulb prevent backflow and protect users during chemical reactions.
The borosilicate glass has heat tolerances including a Strain Point of 515°C, Annealing Point of 565°C, and Softening Point of 820°C. Suitable for chemistry laboratory applications adding liquids to closed reaction vessels.
