Heavy Duty Cast Iron Rectangular Retort Base and 23.6" Rod Set, 9 x 6"

This two-piece retort set pairs a 9" x 6" rectangular cast iron base with a 23.6" (60cm) stainless steel rod. The base has a chemical-resistant blue coating and weighs 6lbs for excellent stability, and its tapped hole accepts the included rod as well as any other rod with a 10mm x 1.5mm metric thread. The included rod measures 12mm in diameter and threads directly into the base. The set is well suited to science classrooms, household laboratories, and basic professional laboratory setups for holding flasks, burettes, clamps, and other apparatus.
