2PK Test Tube Peg Drying Rack - Holds 50 x 16mm Tubes - Plastic

This two-pack contains blue plastic drying racks, each carrying 50 pegs for inverted test tubes up to 16mm in diameter. Each rack measures 7.375 by 4 by 2.75 inches. Inverting tubes on pegs allows water to drain out under gravity rather than pooling in the bottom, and turns the closed end downward so airborne dust cannot settle inside a tube that has just been cleaned. The base is perforated to increase airflow beneath the rack, so evaporation is not restricted by air trapped under the tubes. At 50 pegs per rack, a pair handles a full set of tubes coming out of a wash at once. The racks also hold and dry electrophoresis and chromatography plates, which need the same vertical draining and dust protection.
