This set of 24 test tubes is made from borosilicate 3.3 glass, each with a 50mL capacity. The tubes feature uniform 1.2mm wall thickness for excellent thermal shock resistance and fire-polished beaded rims that resist chipping and cracking.
The borosilicate glass is autoclavable and can withstand direct flame, high temperatures, and thermal shocks. Heat tolerances include a Strain Point of 515°C, Annealing Point of 565°C, and Softening Point of 820°C.
