This single round-bottom test tube has a 50mL capacity and is manufactured from heavy-duty borosilicate 3.3 glass. It is fitted with a Bakelite screw cap and rubber liner to provide a leak-proof seal for storage and transport.
The tube measures 5.9" tall and 1" wide (including cap). Autoclavable with superior chemical durability and low thermal expansion, it can withstand high temperatures and thermal shock. Well suited to transferring and storing chemicals and samples, handling and culturing biological material, and home or garage use for crafting and storage.
