Product Description

This medium-sized sodium spoon is designed for safely holding sodium under water. Compressing the handles opens the caged spoon, allowing sodium to be placed inside. The rust-proof wire stem and strong cage securely enclose the sodium during the experiment. The cage measures 0.59" (15mm) in diameter, and the overall length is 9.75" (248mm). Suitable for chemistry classroom demonstrations involving alkali metal reactions with water.
