This PTFE-coated magnetic stir bar contains an Alnico magnet for use with most stir plate drive magnets. The pivot ring in the center spins smoothly and evenly. The stir bar measures 1.8 inches (48mm) long and 0.5 inch (12mm) in diameter.
Provides superior chemical resistance via PTFE coating. Magnetic stirring vastly improves the consistency and purity of solutions over long periods compared to manual stir utensils. A required accessory for laboratory stir plates.
