This vertical pear-shaped splash head is made from borosilicate 3.3 glass with a 19/26 socket size and 24/29 cone size. The total length is 7". The splash head is used in distillation setups to prevent liquid from being carried over into the condenser.
The borosilicate glass is autoclavable with heat tolerances of: Strain Point 515°C, Annealing Point 565°C, and Softening Point 820°C.
