This sloping pear-shaped splash head is made from heavy-duty borosilicate 3.3 glass with a 24/29 cone size to fit flasks and a 19/26 cone size to fit condensers. The total length is 6.5 inches.
Splash heads prevent bumping liquid from reaching the condenser during distillation. The borosilicate glass is autoclavable with heat tolerances including a Strain Point of 515°C, Annealing Point of 565°C, and Softening Point of 820°C.
