This sloping pear-shaped splash head is made from heavy-duty borosilicate 3.3 glass. The cone size fits flask joint 24/29 and the socket fits condenser size 24/29. Total length is 6.5".
The borosilicate glass is autoclavable with superior chemical durability. Its low temperature gradient allows it to withstand thermal shocks, with heat tolerances including a Strain Point of 515°C, Annealing Point of 565°C, and Softening Point of 820°C. Suitable for distillation setups in professional, educational, and home laboratory environments.
