Chemical information and safety warnings are printed directly on each bottle in easy to read type, so the information stays with the container rather than depending on a label that can detach. The screw cap is blue color coded, which gives a second means of identification readable across a bench at a glance. The blue cap distinguishes these bottles from the red-capped acetone bottles in the same series. The bottle wall is opaque white rather than translucent, which protects the contents from light, since sodium hypochlorite degrades on exposure and loses effective concentration over time.
