Electronics System 1 Physics Kit

The Electronics System 1 Physics Kit includes 18 components, including a circuit board and all the diodes and transistors needed to investigate core concepts in introductory semiconductor electronics. Students can build and explore circuits such as the half-wave rectifier, measure gain with a power transistor, work with an infrared diode and phototransistor, and examine the unijunction transistor. An experiment guide covering 11 activities is included: the forward bias diode, half-wave rectifier, Zener diode, transistor as a switch, measuring gain with a PNP power transistor, infrared diode and phototransistor, light dependent resistor, temperature dependent resistors, silicon controlled rectifier, TRIAC, and the unijunction transistor.
