Hand Crank Whirling Table for Physics Demonstrations

The Whirling Table is a hand-crank-driven apparatus suitable for a range of applications requiring a rotating shaft, including physics demonstrations of centripetal and centrifugal forces, rotating a Newton color disc or Savart wheel, and powering other axle-driven devices. The apparatus consists of a hand-turned wheel, belt-driven pulley, and adjustable chuck adaptor, all secured to a 1-inch thick MDF frame. A chuck key is included for tightening and loosening. The wheel can be cranked in either direction for clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation, and the table can be operated in either a vertical or horizontal position. A 7.75-inch long threaded extension rod is included. Overall dimensions are 21 inches long, 7.5 inches wide, and 7 inches high.
