Garage Physics Projectile Motion Slingshot Kit

This projectile motion slingshot kit allows students to explore projectile motion, Hooke's Law, velocity, kinetic energy, and gravity through hands-on experimentation with a rubber-band slingshot. Launches are highly repeatable for consistent experimental results, and the included angled stand allows exploration of launch angles from 0° to 45° in 5° increments. The kit includes a slingshot frame, frame supports, release mechanism support, angled stands and support, four #32 rubber bands, a ping pong ball, a leather pouch, a cotter pin and string, a cardboard storage box, and instructions with experimental activities. Wooden components are made from precision-cut birch veneer pure bond plywood. No additional tools are required, and setup takes approximately 10 minutes.
