Garage Physics MURLIN Trebuchet DIY Kit

This MURLIN (MultiRadius Linear-Node) Trebuchet DIY kit combines the throwing advantage of a standard trebuchet with a highly efficient spinning windup, allowing students to explore projectile motion, gravitational potential energy, velocity, motion, and stability. The trebuchet throws an included ping pong ball more than 30 feet despite a throwing arm half the length of the larger Eisco trebuchet model. The kit includes 2 A-frame supports, front and back base struts, pulley mount, swing arm, two 8-inch dowels, release pin, leather pouch, sliding pouch holder, 1kg counterweight, pulley with 2 wood screws, sling and counterweight strings, ping pong ball, rubber band, cardboard storage box, and an instructor's manual with assembly and experimental activities. Wooden components are precision-cut from Birch veneer pure bond plywood. A small Phillips screwdriver is required for assembly. Part of the Garage Physics line by Eisco.
