Crystalline Pyrite Specimen with 2-10mm Crystals, 1.5-2 inch

This crystalline pyrite specimen measures approximately 1.5-2" in length and features crystals ranging from 2-10mm in size. The bright, metallic luster that gives pyrite its "fool's gold" moniker is clearly visible across the crystal faces, which exhibit the mineral's characteristic cubic habit. Pyrite is a lead sulfide commonly deposited where water has flowed through rock. Each specimen weighs between 3 and 5 ounces and fits comfortably in the hand.
