This Eisco Labs Rectangular Retort Base is made from corrosion-resistant, powder-coated pressed steel and measures 8" long by 5" wide. The base weighs 2.5 lbs for excellent stability and features rubber strips on the bottom to protect work surfaces. A tapped hole accepts a retort rod. Retort bases are fundamental support structures in laboratory setups, anchoring rods, clamps, and glassware assemblies. The heavy steel construction prevents tipping during experiments.
