Separation of a Mixture Science Experiment Kit

This Separation of a Mixture science kit teaches young learners about matter and its physical properties. Students examine three different solids (sand, iron filings, and salt) to determine similarities and differences in physical properties, then develop and execute a method to separate a mixture of all three using included tools. The kit includes 50g each of sand, salt, and iron filings, 200g of a 3-part mixture, magnets, plastic cups, magnifiers, a teacher (or parent) manual, and a safety data sheet.
