Acids and Bases with Litmus Paper Distance Learning Kit

This Exploration of Acids and Bases kit allows students to test dilute acids and bases with neutral litmus paper. Using the included chemicals, students explore the pH scale and determine whether various substances are acidic or basic. Extra litmus paper allows continued exploration by testing household items. The kit includes 10mL bottles of 0.01M HCl, 0.01M NaOH, distilled water, vinegar, dilute ammonia, liquid soap, and lemon juice, along with 100 strips of neutral litmus paper and 2 plastic spot plates. An instruction manual with activity sheets and safety data sheets are included. Materials are sufficient for two groups or two students. For laboratory use only.
