Thin Layer Chromatography Kit for 15 Student Groups

Students perform chromatography using four colored dyes to determine whether each dye consists of a single component or a mixture, and test different solvents to assess their effect on separation. The kit includes red, yellow, green, and blue dyes, three types of chromatography solvents (deionized water, 50% ethanol, and 95% ethanol), 15 TLC sheets, capillary pipettes, a teacher manual, student study guide copy masters, and safety data sheets.
