This Ideal Gas Law lab kit from Innovating Science provides hands-on materials for students to explore the relationship between pressure, volume, temperature, and the amount of gas through the reaction of sodium bicarbonate and hydrochloric acid. Students measure the amount of CO2 produced and apply the Ideal Gas Law equation to calculate results. The kit also incorporates stoichiometry practice to determine percent yield.
Materials are provided for 15 groups, making it suitable for full-class instruction. A teacher's guide and student study guide are included. For laboratory use only.
