This Kidneys and Blood Filtration kit helps students understand the role of the kidney in blood filtration and waste removal. Students create an artificial kidney model to filter simulated blood, then determine whether filtration has occurred by testing the filtrate.
The kit provides materials for 15 groups of students for hands-on learning. A Teacher's Manual and Student Study Guide copymasters are included for structured instruction. Suitable for ages 13 and older with adult supervision.
