This Mendelian genetics kit allows students to simulate Gregor Mendel's foundational work and determine patterns of inheritance. Using special chips and Innovating Science's exclusive double dice, students simulate both monohybrid and dihybrid crosses, then determine genotypic and phenotypic ratios and compare them to Mendel's theoretical ideal values. The kit includes five female monohybrid chips (red/yellow), five male monohybrid chips (red/white), five female dihybrid double dice (colored), five male dihybrid double dice (clear), and five plastic shaker cups.
