Determination of Cholesterol Using Simulated Blood Kit for 15 Groups

This Determination of Cholesterol Using Simulated Blood lab activity teaches students about cholesterol, its health effects, and how cholesterol levels are tested and treated. Students use simulated blood samples to test cholesterol levels in four patients, devise treatment plans for each patient, and then test post-treatment samples to identify which treatments were most successful. Materials sufficient for 15 groups. The kit includes 8 simulated blood samples (4 pre-treatment and 4 post-treatment), 15 spot plates, 120 pH strips, and 15 cholesterol charts.
