DNA Fingerprinting Electrophoresis Lab Activity Kit

This DNA fingerprinting electrophoresis lab activity introduces students to restriction enzymes and their role in the DNA fingerprinting process. Students use electrophoresis to separate DNA samples from a child, a mother, and two potential fathers to determine possible paternity. The kit contains enough materials for eight groups of students.
