Surface Tension of Water and Wetting Agents Experiment Kit

The Surface Tension of Water Kit provides a hands-on exploration of how water behaves like a stretched membrane and how wetting agents disrupt that tension. Students observe sulfur powder resting on the water surface, held by surface tension, then witness the breakdown of that tension when a small amount of detergent is added, causing the particles to fall through. The kit includes sulfur powder (15g) and green dish detergent (5mL) for multiple experiments. It supports NGSS concepts in physical science, including PS1.A and HS-PS1-3.
