Native Copper Mineral Deposit Growing Small Group Learning Kit

This science experiment kit allows learners to simulate the formation conditions of native copper deposits and grow their own copper crystals over several days. Copper is one of the most useful and versatile naturally occurring metals, with evidence of human use spanning at least 10,000 years. While copper is typically extracted from mineral ores, it also exists in its native elemental form, which is the rarest and most valuable. The kit includes 75g copper sulfate, 75g sodium chloride, 10 iron nails, 5 plastic vials, 20 filter paper discs (25mm), 5 hand magnifiers, a teacher or parent instruction manual, student study guide and analysis worksheets, and safety data sheets. Distilled or deionized water is required but not included. Designed for small group learning with materials for up to 4 groups of students.
