Environmental Testing Kit for 30 Students

This environmental testing kit is a classroom lab activity designed to teach students how environmental scientists test air and water samples for contaminants and pollution. The kit includes supplies for nine different environmental tests that students can conduct in their local area, including dissolved oxygen levels, pH, smoke density, hardness, phosphate, chloride, and more. The kit contains enough material for 30 students working together in groups. Supplies include methylene blue, EDTA solution, silver nitrate, bromothymol blue, hardness/phosphate/chloride powder pillows, pH strips, a glass bottle, magnifiers, a smoke density comparator, a syringe, and additional lab supplies. Instructions and safety data sheets are included.
