Plant Salt Stress Kit

This kit provides materials for 10 groups to expose radish plants to multiple sodium chloride concentrations and investigate how increasing salinity affects germination and growth. Students compare responses across 3%, 2%, 1%, 0.1%, and 0.01% sodium chloride conditions and construct a dose-response curve to estimate salinity tolerance thresholds. The kit includes premeasured sodium chloride QuickSolutions at each tested concentration along with empty bottles for the lower concentrations, radish, pea, and bean seeds, germination trays, pipettes, and toothpicks.
