Lenz's Law Demonstration Kit

The Eisco Labs Lenz's Law Kit is a hands-on apparatus for demonstrating electromagnetic induction, eddy currents, and Faraday's Law. The clear plastic frame stands approximately 12.5 inches tall and holds two tubes — one aluminum and one clear plastic — for side-by-side comparison of magnetic braking effects. The kit includes two magnets and a 2.5N / 250g dynamometer that suspends the apparatus so students can quantitatively measure the additional force as a magnet falls through the conductive tube.
